The Trust

The Royal Anniversary Trust was established by a deed of trust dated July 1990.  As a mark of its unique position as an educational charity the Charity Commission granted it the registration number 1,000,000.

The affairs of the Trust are supervised and guided by the Trustees.  The Trustees, together with leading figures from different areas of national life appointed for the purpose for each round of the scheme, form the Trust’s Awards Council.  The Awards Council oversees the assessment process of the Prizes scheme during the round and makes the final recommendations.
